Welcome to Presence Church

Take a look below to find out all you need to know to help with your first visit to us

In addition to some on-road parking in the surrounding streets, we have spaces available at both the Hollacombe and Chadwell Centres. They are down Headland Road, next to the Shell Garage. On arrival, you will be greeted and shown to your parking space by a member of our team.

Children of all ages are welcome. We have an incredible children's team who provide fun and engaging activities, games and songs during your child's time with us. For parents with creche aged children, we have an overflow area upstairs which has refreshments, toys and the service streamed so you don't have to miss out.

Children go out to their activities during the service after some worship together. Please note that only the 11:30am service has children's facilities available.

Our services start at 9:30 and 11:30am on Sunday mornings and the first thing you can expect is a warm welcome at the door where you will be given a welcome pack with some information about LWC.

We may vary the service slightly but usually we will begin with some songs of worship followed by a mesage. After the service there may also be a time for prayer and addional worship.

Tea and coffee is served before and after the service, which provides a great opportunity to catch up with friends and make new ones.

We celebrate communion as part of both the 9:30 and 11:30 services twice a month. We believe in open communion – that means that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is welcome to take communion, whether they are a church member or not.

Please feel free to wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Most people choose to wear smart casual as the atmosphere is informal.

We aim to be as accommodating as possible for those with additional needs. There is a ramp into the building and then level access into the main auditiorium. There are also dedicated WC facilities for those using wheelchairs.

At LWC we take an offering during the service as part of our worship.  However, we do not expect our guests to make any contribution so when the offering bag gets passed along your row, please simply pass it on. The offering is an act of worship and is therefore another way for Christians to show their love for Jesus by supporting the work of His church. No one will judge you if you do not put anything in.  You may of course contribute if you wish.
